Newspaper Ad
The key to newspaper advertising (and advertising to your client too) is to alternate offers and services. With the newspaper, I've found it works best to run a carpet cleaning ad for a few weeks, rug cleaning ad a few weeks, and then a tile cleaning ad. The order you run them isn't important. You just want your prospects to see your ad and think, "I better call now because there's no telling when this offer will run again." If you keep running the same ad with the offer every single week, it gets humdrum.

Note: Notice the special offers on each of these ads. We DO NOT run these specials all the time. We point this fact out to the people who call from these ads to create action NOW. And since the ads alternate, it's the offers are more believable too.

Guys, this is the KEY to staying busy. Even if you only have a few dozen people on your mailing list, send newsletters and postcards to your current clients.
IMPORTANT: If you haven't sent your clients something in the past two weeks, send them something NOW!
