You’re probably wondering where to get started, right? Well, that’s what this page is for. I’m going to walk you through the club and show you what you should start working on right away.
Here are the TWO most important things I highly recommend:
1. Send something in the mail to your current clients every month or at least every other month. Each month, you get either a newsletter, postcard, or newsletter/postcard to mail to your current clients. Click on any of the months on the main page and you’ll see the client mailing.
What do you do if you’re just getting started and you have no clients?
If you have at least a dozen clients, send out a newsletter. But if you’re just getting started, you may also want to mail a neighborhood mailer. I recommend you mail to specific high-end neighborhoods near your shop or in an area you want to some day service. Call this neighborhood “Your neighborhood.” It’s yours. Claim it.
You’ll also see several neighborhood mailings throughout the ad club pages. They’ll typically be labeled “Neighborhood” or “Direct Mail.” Watch the videos in the September 2009, May 2009, and November 2008 sections.
2. Market your service like CRAZY on the internet. Why? It’s the best return you can currently get for your advertising dollar.
To see how to make your website rank better, use Google Adwords at the cheapest cost possible, and create email newsletters for your clients, see the Internet Marketing Class.
As an Ad of the Month member, you have access to all the past class videos and handouts. Plus, whenever the class opens, you’re allowed to attend at NO additional charge.
All you need to do is forward your domain name to these "SNS1.websitewelcome.com & SNS2.websitewelcome.com" and we'll take care of the rest. You can have your blog put up after two months in the ad of the month club.
If you don't already have a domain name for your blog, go to www.Godaddy.com and purchase your domain name. Then call their customer support and ask them to "forward the nameservers" to the SNS addresses above. Then email me to let me know what your domain name is and that you have it forwarded for us to set up your blog on our hosting service. That's it!
About the Files in the member section…
Watch This Video First
Most of the files come in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, or Microsoft Publisher. But some come in Adobe Indesign or Adobe Photoshop. The Photoshop files are called PSD. In order to access them, you’ll need either Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Gimp.
***About the PSD files***
For the absolute best looking postcard, I highly suggest Photoshop Elements. This is the easiest and best way to get a quality final postcard. However, Publisher can work somewhat decently if you are printing on your own computer.
These files are in Microsoft publisher. We've tried using Word for postcards, but Word doesn't handle graphics very well. Publisher is much better suited than Word, but Photoshop Element is the preferred program for postcards. Most of the postcards are in both Publisher and Photoshop PSD so there's rarely a time you'd need both programs. You can buy a copy for usually $90-160. Or you can get a 60 day free trial at http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/publisher/default.aspx
Your Bonuses...
Also, remember to thoroughly look over the bonuses and extras on the main member page at www.Hitmanadvertising.com/coachingclub Here you’ll find a lot of stuff to give you killer advertising ideas.
You can ask any question or email me any ad to review. Please limit your questions to ONE at a time. When I return your email, you may ask another question. Typically, I will return your email within 48 hours unless I am out of town.
